  • New York Times Scholarship | Students with an outstanding academic achievement (top 10% or equivalent of high school graduating class) are eligible. The New York Times Scholarship is a commitment to learning and community service, with the success in the face of adversity. Applicants must be a U.S. citizens or permanent resident to be eligible.
  • NFAA young ARTS program | NFAA is looking for talented young artists in all disciplines of the performing, literary, and visual arts. NFAA's young ARTS program is dedicated to nurturing and supporting high school senior-aged artists at this critical point in their professional development.
  • NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence | NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence are looking for high school that can study full time and be matriculated in an approved undergraduate program of study in a New York State post secondary institution. One must be a U.S. citizens or qualifying non-citizens, as well as a New York State resident.
  • OCA Scholarships | For over 10 years, OCA has provided assistance to deserving APA (Asian Pacific Islander American) students in achieving the ultimate dream of a college education. OCA’s diverse group of scholarships are based on factors such as achievement and financial need.
  • Olive Garden Pasta Tales Essay Writing Contest | The Olive Garden Pasta Tales Essay Writing Contest is open to all young writers from grades 1 through 12. Submissions are judged based on creativity, adherence to theme, organization, grammar, punctuation and spelling by the Quill and Scroll Society of the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Iowa with finalists selected by Olive Garden.
  • Rashawn Brazell Memorial Scholarship | The Rashawn Brazell Memorial Scholarship aims to provide a sustainable tribute to Rashawn Brazell, a 19-year-old Brooklyn native who was brutally murdered in February 2005. With each year the award is offered, The Rashawn Brazell encourage a new wave of New York City high school students to reflect upon Brazell’s legacy of selfless service and to think critically about the impact of intolerance and violence on their communities. Students of a minority and resident of New York entering college in the Fall Semester are eligible.
  • RMHC National Scholarship Program | RMHC wants students to reach their full potential. To help them accomplish this, the network of U.S. Chapters, along with RMHC Global, offer scholarships to students in financial need who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership and community involvement. High school seniors are eligible who would like to attend a two- four year college or university, with a full course of study.
  • Ron Brown Scholar Program | The Ron Brown Scholar Program seeks to identify African-American high school seniors who will make significant contributions to society. The recipients may use the renewable scholarships to attend an accredited four-year college or university of their choice within the United States. Ron Brown Scholarships are not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue any academic discipline.
  • SAE Engineering Scholarships | Through generous contributions from various individuals, corporations and universities, SAE International is proud to award scholarship money to both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. SAE scholarships assist in developing the future engineering workforce by helping students achieve their dreams of becoming an engineer. Funded through the SAE Foundation, these scholarships encourage academic excellence and help students around the world to pursue their passion for engineering.
  • Sam Walton Community Scholarship (in association with Wal-Mart Good Works) | The Wal-Mart Foundation believes that a good education creates opportunities that lead to a better life. To help offset rising college tuition costs, this scholarship recently awarded more than $10million in academic scholarships to help students enroll in higher education in the school year. Applicants must be a high school senior and must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point un-weighted scale, and have taken either the ACT or SAT test.
  • TCI (Tall Clubs International) Student Scholarships | Annually, at TCI Convention, TCI awards student scholarships of up to $1000 each to tall students who are under 21 years of age and attending their first year of college in the following fall. The recipients must also meet the TCI height requirement minimums of 5'10" for women and 6'2" for men. TCI’s purpose is to promote tall awareness among the community.
  • The (Ayn Rand) Anthem Essay Contest | Ayn Rand’s novels are inspiring and intellectually challenging, but they can also be financially rewarding for high school and college students. The Ayn Rand Institute sponsors annual essay contests that offer 600 prizes and $100,000 in prize money every year. Applicants must be in the ninth or tenth grade.
  • The Davidson Fellows Scholarship Program | The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception. Applicants must be from ages 5 to 16.
  • The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards | The program's goals are to applaud young people who already are making a positive difference in their towns and neighborhoods, and to inspire others to think about how they might contribute to their communities. Any young person who is in grades 5-12 are eligible.
  • The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards | The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards offer early recognition of creative teenagers and scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors. The Awards program is national in scope and administered by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers in partnership with 77 regional affiliate organizations.
  • The Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship | Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $10,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or fowl. Two awards of $5,000 each will be given. Entries may only be sent by students graduating from high school in spring of the current year.
  • United States Senate Youth Program | Each year, in cooperation with the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the New York State Education Department sponsors the United States Senate Youth Program. An outcome of this program is that two high school student leaders (juniors or seniors) are selected to represent New York State in Washington, D.C., all expenses paid. During their Washington Week experience, delegates participate in an unparalleled learning experience in which the highest-level officials from each branch of government help students explore the American political process and encourage student commitment to public service. Each delegate receives a $5,000 college award provided that two full courses in United States, government, history, and/or political science are taken by the student at an accredited institution during the student’s future college or university career.
  • Urban Financial Services Coalition High School Scholarship | The Scholarship membership includes professionals, representing areas of expertise ranging from investment banking, to technology, financial services and commercial back office operations, as well as entrepreneurs. As participants in the private sector, we strive to have a positive impact on the changes in our community through educational and scholarship programs, community activities, and mentoring opportunities. High school seniors with a grade point average of at least a B are eligible for this scholarship.

  • AMS/Freshman Undergraduate Scholarship | The American Meteorological Society (AMS) administers an array of graduate fellowships and undergraduate scholarships with the support of its members, corporations, and government agencies nationwide. The fellowships and scholarships help further the education of outstanding graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a career in the atmospheric and related oceanic or hydrologic sciences.

    • Coca-Cola Scholars Program | The Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation supports over 1,400 college students each year, with annual scholarships of $3.4 million through two nationally recognized programs on behalf of the Coca−Cola System. Seniors at secondary schools throughout the United States who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for one of 250 four-year merit-based scholarships. High school seniors, who have not yet graduated, must submit initial applications between August and October 31 of his/her senior year in high school.
    • Dell Scholars Program | The Dell Scholars Program is about you, and your determination to succeed. This is a program that looks beyond academic performance and grades. You don’t need the highest grades to apply. It rewards your determination to achieve great things through higher education. The Dell Scholars Program enables more underserved students with financial need to achieve their greatest potential through higher education. This program is offered to those high school students participating in approved college readiness programs.
    • FFRF - Herbert Bushong High School Senior Essay Contest | FFRF gives incoming college freshmen the opportunity to apply for multiple scholarship awards of the college essay contest. Awards range from $200 to $3,000. High school seniors in North America who are college-bound in fall should enter the College Essay Competition.
    • FFRF - Michael Hakeem Memorial College Essay Contest | FFRF gives current enrolled college students (under the age of 25) the opportunity to apply for multiple scholarship awards of the college essay contest. Awards range from $200 to $3,000.
    • Gates Millennium Scholars | The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program selects 1,000 talented students each year to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. The Gates Millennium Scholars provide personal and professional development through the leadership programs, along with academic support throughout one’s college career.
    • Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards |The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards run annually from January through July and honor young Latino leaders with grants for their college education. Applications are open to graduating high school seniors who maintain an un-weighted 3.0 GPA.
    • Holocaust Rememberance Project | The Holocaust Remembrance Project is designed to encourage the study of the Holocaust and related events in our history and serve as a living memorial to the millions of victims of the Holocaust. The project involves a national college scholarship essay contest and awards college scholarships to the top 10 writers. High school students responding to this year's writing contest should study the Holocaust and then complete an essay of no more than 1,200 words.
    • Horatio Alger National Scholarship Program | Horatio Alger Award recipients are dedicated community leaders who demonstrate individual initiative and a commitment to excellence; as exemplified by remarkable achievements accomplished through honesty, hard work, self-reliance and perseverance over adversity. All potential members must have a strong commitment to assisting those less fortunate than themselves and be willing to contribute to the mission of providing scholarships for younger generations. High school seniors with the minimum grade point average of a 2.0 are eligible.
    • Intel Science Talent Search | Intel is the sponsor of this nationwide competition — America's oldest and most highly regarded pre-college science contest. Eligible students include high school seniors in the United States and territories, and American students attending school abroad. Each year, over 1500 students accept the challenge of completing an entry for the Intel Science Talent Search, with finalists competing for the top prize, a $100,000 scholarship.
    • LEAGUE Foundation Scholarship | The program is open to self-identified Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender graduating high school seniors meeting the prescribed criteria. This organization has grown into a national scholarship fund reaching all 50 states with support from corporations, individuals, and other GLBT organizations.
    • Listen To A Life Contest | To enter the Listen to a Life Contest, a young person interviews an older person about their hopes and goals through their life, how they achieved goals and overcame obstacles, or how dreams may have changed along the way. What life advice can they share? The young person then writes a 300-word essay based on the interview. Each team consists of a young person 8-18 years with a grandparent or grandfriend 50 years or over (co-entrant cannot be a parent; they can be a grandparent, older friend, mentor, neighbor, nursing home resident, etc.)
    • Merck Respiratory "Will To Win" Asthma Scholarship | All high school seniors with asthma who have achieved a level of excellence in one of the following: performing arts, community service, athletics, visual arts or science; and will be attending college in fall 2011 are eligible. Demonstrate outstanding performance in one of the above categories.
    • National Peace Essay Contest | The National Peace Essay Contest promotes serious discussion among high school students, teachers, and national leaders about international peace and conflict resolution today and in the future. It complements existing curricula and other scholastic activities, strengthening students' research, writing, and reasoning skills; and meets National Contents Standards. Students are eligible to participate if they are in grades nine through twelve in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories, or if

    atlscrollheroHigh school students, recent high school graduates, transfer students and their families are invited to attend a college fair hosted by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead located 3300 Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta. The free, public event is being held during the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Summer Conference.
    Millions of dollars in scholarships will be available to qualified applicants and will be offered on the spot to students who meet the required guidelines. Attendees are encouraged to bring official final transcripts, immunization records and ACT/SAT scores.
    Recruitment, admissions, academic, athletics, band and choir representatives from UAPB will be available to talk with prospective students, provide information about the institution, admissions criteria, academic programs, costs and answer questions. A special addition to the fair will include a chat with UAPB Chancellor Dr. Laurence B. Alexander. New fall enrollees will also have a chance to win an iPad or book scholarship at the event, but must be present to win.
    “This is a great opportunity for college-bound high school students, transfer students and their parents to meet with faculty, staff, current students to see what UAPB has to offer,” said Chris Robinson, director of recruitment at UAPB.
    The college fair will give potential students an opportunity to speak with every department on campus from aquaculture/fisheries to residential life, answer questions they might have and leave with a better understanding of UAPB.

    The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), will administer the David J. Stern Scholarship Program, which will provide a talented and enthusiastic student the opportunity to enhance his or her studies at a college or university of his or her choice, including any one of the nation’s 4-year Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The scholarship awarded each year will be determined on the basis of merit and need.
    The recipient will receive a 3-year renewable scholarship at $10,000 per year (for a total not to exceed $30,000). He or she will also have the opportunity to apply to intern at the NBA league office (dependent upon eligibility) as a rising senior and will receive direct mentorship from Commissioner Emeritus David Stern.  The deadline is August 1, 2015.
